Trenitalia France Secures €2 Billion High-Speed Train Order for Paris-London and European Expansion

Trenitalia France, part of the FS Italiane Group, has placed a €2 billion order with Hitachi Rail for 19 new high-speed trains, earmarked for an ambitious expansion across Europe including a confirmed Paris-London connection by 2029. The investment includes train construction, long-term maintenance, and is set to create approximately 2,000 jobs.

China has commissioned what it describes as the world’s first underwater data center powered directly by an offshore wind farm. Located off the coast of Shanghai’s Lingang Special Area, the facility aims to demonstrate sustainable computing infrastructure with significant electricity and water savings.
